Bill Cooper began his singing career at the age of six with performances in country and western dance halls up and down California. He later appeared with various regional musical theater companies and, more recently, has established himself as a cabaret favorite with regular performances at the Plush Room, Purple Onion, and Octavia Lounge in San Francisco, and at Club Regent in the San Jose Fairmont Hotel. Bill has also appeared in the San Francisco edition of the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Convention, and at special events at the Castro Theater and other venues throughout the Bay Area. In addition to his solo engagements, Bill continues to host one of San Francisco's most popular open mics at the Octavia Lounge.

His CD, Anything Goes!, a selection of favorites from his one-man shows, is currently available on the Original Cast Records Label.
